IBasic was written for you, the computer user. As we developed IBasic we placed great emphasis in designing a language that was both advanced enough for expert programmers and easy enough to learn for the beginner or student. IBasic is very similar to the BASIC languages included with personal computers in the past. Those languages were meant to be an �all purpose� tool. Serving as both an operating system and a means of interacting with the computer owner, the �user� As computers developed into the powerhouses they are today, we lost that uniqueness and thrill of being able to write our own programs and, at the same time, the learning and understanding of our computers. Although there are many other languages available to use, most are too expensive or too hard to learn for the average computer user. IBasic fills the �gap� with its easy to use syntax and low price.
